The Kaal Sarp YogThe Kaal Sarp Yog is formed when all the planets are present in between Rahu and Ketu. Rahu the demon king drank some of the divine nectar. Before the nector could pass his throat, female avatar of Lord Vishnu cut off his head. His cut off head is Rahu and his body is Ketu. These two parts of the body are lying axially in opposite direction, dividng the zodiac in two equal parts. Kaal Sarpa Yoga is formed when all the planets lie on one side of the axis.
